The Options Senegal team heads to the city of Baol, in the Diourbel region of Senegal on December 28 to begin its third training session in conjunction with ChildFund Senegal for 50 participants.
These 50 participants represent community associations from the Diourbel region who were recruited by local Federations in partnership with ChildFund Senegal.

how far is Baol from your office and how long will the trip actually take ?
The distance is around 140 km from Dakar to Baol. The trip will take around three hours, but depending on the time of day, traffic can easily double the trip time. Traffic tends to bottleneck around a city called Rufisque, so if there’s no work that we can do in the car, its a good opportunity to catch up on sleep.
This is precisely why this country needs railroads, without having to sign a contract to give up the eco system and mineral rights. Am I right?
